Cassandra Abram was born and raised in Turlock. She chose to return here to build her career and raise her family because she knows our city is a great place to live and work. As a local optometrist, Cassandra's professional life is built on the same values she brings to City Hall: treating every person with respect, gathering the facts before acting, and making decisions in the best interest of those she serves.

A Different Kind of Council Member

Since taking office, Cassandra has set herself apart as an engaged and diligent representative. She has been a consistent advocate for fiscal responsibility, supporting the police and fire departments, improving traffic safety, expanding safe sidewalk access, investing in infrastructure, and keeping residents informed and involved.

Her approach is straightforward: do the homework, listen to residents, collaborate across the dais, and vote with the community's long-term interests in mind, even when it's the harder call.

Why She's Running for Re-Election

Cassandra is seeking re-election because the work isn't finished. Turlock has real momentum, and she wants to keep building on it, for current residents and for generations to come. She brings to every City matter the same problem-solving mindset she uses every day in her optometry practice: assess the situation carefully, consider the alternatives, and take decisive action in the best interest of the people counting on her.
